El concejal de Cultura y Relaciones Institucionales del Ayuntamiento de Cádiz, Antonio Castillo, acudirá esta semana al Forum Universal de las Culturas de Monterrey 2007 (en México) para presentar el proyecto municipal ‘Cádiz 2012’. Una vez conseguidos y ratificados el nombramiento de Capital Cultural Iberoamericana, y la sede de la XXII Cumbre Iberoamericana de Jefes de Estado, el Ayuntamiento de la capital gaditana acude a esta importante cita cultural que arrancará hace tres años en Barcelona, tras acordarse en la visita a Cádiz, en octubre de 2006, de la responsable del Forum, Cristina King Miranda. Este Forum, que ya ha recibido 2,5 millones de visitas, es un evento que reúne a ciudadanos de todo el mundo, para pensar y proponer soluciones a asuntos de importancia mundial como la paz, la educación, el conocimiento o la conservación del planeta.
